While this particular negotiation on a consignment car did not work out, it's not because Matt didn't do his level best to make it happen. He's a true gentleman and was a pleasure to deal with. When it seemed we were close to a deal he began a search for a reputable car transport company versus the standard chain operations. At Last: An Honest Dealership!

My husband and I bought a Toyota truck from Matt and Heather in January of 2017. The truck has been great! We have had absolutely no issues with it. Tonight we were reminiscing about how Matt and Heather had made buying a vehicle a relaxing, enjoyable experience. We both agreed we would never consider buying a new car again unless we had first checked the inventory at Preferred Motors. We feel sure Matt would have what we need at a good price. We'd rather buy a good used car from an honest dealer than a new car from all the untrustworthy (& rude) new car dealerships that are out there. Toyota 4Runner

This was the best car-buying experience of my life. I purchased a Toyota 4Runner at a very fair price, sight-unseen. Matt was extremely helpful, fair and honest. I paid a small earnest money to hold the car until I could get to Tampa to pick it up. He provided me the actual invoice days in advance of the purchase. I sent him pictures of my driver's license and insurance card in advance and when I showed up, he had all the paperwork prepared and ready for me to sign. I signed the documents and paid exactly the balance of the invoice and was on the road home (after taking a very satisfied and smiling picture in front of the car). The car was so clean it appeared to be brand new and was in excellent condition. I am very satisfied.

Made Car Buying Enjoyable

I got into a car accident and needed something fast. Matt was so nice and understanding of my situation, gave me a great deal on an adorable Honda Civic, and made the car buying process easy with as little stress as such a large purchase could possibly have. His wife, Heather, made the paperwork process extremely easy to understand and walked me through everything with the utmost amount of patience. The shop itself is kept very clean, they even keep some of their cars inside! I've been through the car buying experience multiple times, and this was by far the most simple. I felt like Matt and Heather both genuinely cared about putting me in a car that would be safe and gave me a great deal at the same time. Great business!

My First Classic Car Purchase

After years of wanting a 68-72 Chevrolet Corvette, I found Preferred Motors ! This location in Tampa, Fla. advertised a unique magazine car, a 1972 Corvette LT-1, a car with as they called it: "once in a lifetime opportunity". The history of this vette was compelling !Matt provided me with all information, pictures, and videos for me to make a decision for me to complete the purchase, in addition to answering my many questions. Matt and Heather are a great team. The Corvette, as with any classic car, needed a little tweeking, which is still becoming a personal pleasure. NO Pressure Car Buying Experience

If you are wanting a literal NO pressure car buying experience, then you really need not look any further than Preferred owned by Matt and his wife Heather. Matt is a businessman, and just a good person; not some shady "used car salesman". I had narrowed my choices down to 4 of his cars, and how about he suggested me buying the cheapest of the 4? I've NEVER had ANY salesperson recommend I buy the cheapest item from them. Regardless, he has all of my future car buying business and I will certainly recommend that my family and friends go and at least give him the opportunity to earn their business too. 2008 Honda Civic

I had been looking for a new car since September 2012. I was not going to make a purchase until I searched everywhere for the perfect car. I typed my specifications into every website including Craigslist and stumbled upon the beautiful red 2008 Civic priced very reasonably. I came in the next day met Matt and test drove the car. Over the period of about 3 business days I brought family in to get their feel for the car. They immediately fell in love with the car. From the moment I saw the car on the website, in addition to the clean history, car fax, and fair price, I knew I had found my new car.
